IN THE YEAR 2008
The plan was to play the back nine at Furry Creek Golf Resort and Country Club but when we got there the creek which runs past the club house was unusually high so we decided instead to paddle.

Lions Bay - Story
STORY
On February 11, 1983. One massive landslide ripped through a small community about half way between Squamish and Vancouver. Like the morning after a night of scopolamine, the people of Lions Bay were confused, surprised and ultimately angry at the event(s) that had taken place. Something had to be done. So the city of Vancouver pulled a few sheets, hired a few peeps and the project that sparked what would become the climactic crest of "Still Twitchin" (the squamish section) was underway.
The result? Well, after many intense hours of blue printing, lawyer fights, heavy mustache maintenance, and countless burnt Benjamins; lay a cement drainage which funnels excess rain water etc. 1000m from the highest houses of the community down a huge embankment, under the Sea to Sky highway and right into the Pacific friggin' Ocean.
Joe, Tim, and Laze decided one day to follow in the footsteps of "the celebrity in the whitewater world" as Mail Tribune put it.
Labeled Photos by Steve Rogers. Video coming soon.

Mashiter - Video
FEATURE
While filming for a Belmont cigarette ad, Tim accidentally ended up running a local 30' drop (Mashiter) backwards. Interestingly enough it was the cleanest line he'd ever had on the waterfall.

Callaghan 2 days ago - Video
CURRENT EVENT
This past weekend Mikkel and Tim ran into Joe in Whistler and decided to do a lap on the Callaghan. Levels were on the low side of medium but the warm weather this week should bump things up a bit.
